Colorado Bat Removal & Exclusion

Bats play a critical role in our ecosystem, but colonies in attics or wall voids can lead to serious health and structural concerns. Learn how to identify the signs of a bat issue—and how Chase Wildlife safely excludes and protects your property.

Signs of Bat Activity

  • Scratching or squeaking sounds from attic or walls at dusk or dawn
  • Strong ammonia-like odor from accumulated guano (droppings)
  • Brown/black staining around roofline gaps or entry points
  • Visible bat sightings during early morning or late evening flights

Safe, Legal Bat Removal

In Colorado, several bats are protected species, and exclusions can only occur outside of maternity season (typically August through mid-May). We comply with all local and federal regulations—including the White Nose Syndrome protocol and humane exclusion practices.

Our team uses one-way exclusion devices that allow bats to safely exit but not re-enter. We then seal vulnerable areas to prevent future colonies.
